Yet Another Shopping Obsession

I can't stop looking at this web site. I mean, they made fun of me last year during kickball season because I insisted on wearing a tennis skirt instead of shorts.

Yes, I'm serious about triathlon. But I'm also serious about not looking so bad while I pant and struggle to the finish. I tried on tri-suits. Only for skinny people.

But I found tri-suits with skirts. They cover the most unflattering areas leaving the toned, muscular knees and calves for all the world to see. I swear it will make my tummy look flatter. That is if folks aren't distracted by my flabby upper arms. And chin hair.

I would so rock if I could get one of these for my workouts. Or this. Or this. But they're expensive and Danskin probably sells something at Wal Mart for less. But maybe I'll save my pennies and get the tri-suit. I'd love to cycle in a skirt.

How cute would that be? I'd so be an Iron Girl, then. :-)

See, I would wonder if the girl riding a bike in a skirt weren't "commando" with a textured condom over that part of the seat.

However, I will admit to being a total perv

*shrug*

I think you could rock that skirt! I do think you are at risk of becoming one of "those" gym women though, you know, the ones obsessed with how they look that we used to make fun of? :)

They would definately see you coming :) I loved Tri's when I used to do them...hated the swimming though. I'm a good swimmer but hated it none the less. I loved the bike riding and got so serious that for three years I didn't own a car. I owned two racing bikes and rode everywhere. I never liked the bright colours and always thought some of the guys were a bit 'out there' until I got hit by a car and the driver said he didn't see me. After I got out of hospital I bought everything in flouro lol...they saw me coming for miles lol.

P.S. I have a skirty bathing suit bottom that I wear with a rash guard for all water events. Love it, love it, love it.

GadflyAfter reading your comment, I had a little dream last night. Thanks. Now I can smile when my ass starts to hurt.
Heather I turned into one of 'those' women the moment I seriously started to spin in the 5:30AM class. I am at peace with that.

mamawe like the same music, same clothes. You rock!
sizzle I decided this morning that since I was still thinking about them I should get them. I just need to measure myself. Don't want to mess up the sizing!
Scorp Love the swimming, actually. Hate the running. I wish I'd started actually exercising 10 years ago. It wouldn't hurt so much. Advice is welcome!
